Life Celebration

Prayer Gram -Prayer Intercessors

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." (Philippians 4: 6)

To: The Family of Our Loved One.

May, We Begin the Celebration of Life and Death of the Love One.

We will focus on The Life Celebrations of how he/she lived it and how he/she died. Your family will be lifted up in our thoughts, prayers and in Mass during the week concerning all our loss. As followers of Christ I can take some comfort in the fact we have the promise of Life Eternal and we simply pass from this life to the next to be with our God in the Christ. May God continue to bless us and may we Praise God.

Sincerely,

Barbara and Les Washington

The following prayer-poem was picked up on a 1985 trip to England by Barbara and Les Washington and is on the 7ups website @ 7upsinc.org. Also my Friend Tara Ortiz was recommended it be used at her friends Celebration Service and Pastor Ken had the same recommendation of the exact same poem and at the bottom it was written Carmelite Monastery Waterford, Ireland . How awesome is our God. 9/10/09

Togetherness

Death is nothing at all. I have only slipped away into the next room.

I am I and you are you. -- Whatever we were to each other we still

are. --Call me by my old familiar name; speak to me in the easy

way you always used. --Put no difference into your tone; wear no

forced air of solemnity or sorrow. -- Laugh as we always laughed

at the little jokes we enjoyed together. --Play, smile, think of me.

Pray for me. Let my name be the household name it always was. --

--Let it be spoken without effort. -- Why should I be out of your

mind because I am out of your sight. I am but waiting for you, for an

interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner. All is well,

nothing is past, nothing is lost. -- One brief moment and all will

be as it was before, only better, infinitely happier and forever.

We will all be one with Christ.
